Every Wednesday in Liahona High School we have something called Liberal Arts. It is a one hour class at the end of the day where we can
forget about books and annoying teachers and learn something that us students are interested in. Classes are classified into five major
categories which are: Sports, Media, Fine Arts, Arts & Craft and Special Interest.
In Liahona, sports are one of the many interest in all student life. There are different types of sports that students take part of.
There are sports for self defense, leisure time, promotion and competitive activity.
Media is another fascinating World full of art, graphics, photo’s and etc.
There are for students that want to communicate to the rest of the school through year books or new letter.

Fine Arts are like another way of showing your talent or learning other significant items that can help you in school or
in the future. There are four different types of fine art which are: Music, Dancing, Promoting English, and Marching Entourage.

ARTS & CRAFT:
Arts & Craft are mostly for student who likes to work with there hands and be creative in different types of for example: cooking, floral
arrangement, handicraft and sewing. It reveal the hidden talent of students but for some they discover there talent that they did not know they had.

- Samoan Language can help you be bilingual.
- Science Club is to prepare student to become like a Tongan version of Albert Einstein.

Sherri Mokofisi was born in Reno, Nevada, U.S.A. She started Liahona High School in the year of
2003 form 4(10th grade). Her favorite subject is Math. Her plan after she graduate from Liahona
High School this year is to continue her education in BYU Hawaii and MAYBE go on her mission after
she graduate from BYU.
